Halloween I Spy Printable
As soon as Halloween decorations start appearing in stores my kids start to plan out everything they want to do for Halloween, from their favorite trick or treat candy to what outfit they want to wear and anything else they can think of!
Halloween is such a big deal to kids and if I can find some easy Halloween activities that they can do then for me it’s a fun way to keep everyone happy!
I’ve shared loads of free Halloween printables for kids some of which you’ll find details of below but I really like this I Spy printable because it’s a great way to help support kids with their counting and number recognition.
Plus kids will love to color in all of the classic Halloween pictures like skulls, monsters, cauldrons and eyeballs and it’s great for a quiet time activity too.
This printable PDF has three designs available in the PDF pack. The first is a black and white design that’s great if you’re trying to save on printer ink – always helpful if you are printing this for classroom use or if you want a few copies for kids to use in your local library.
The second page has a little more color with both the border colored in and the pictures at the bottom of the page.
Finally the third page is the design that you can see below with all of the images colored in and the answers completed too, great if you need to know the answer in a hurry yourself.

- Halloween I Spy PDF
- Printer and white paper
- Colored markers, coloring pencils or crayons
How To Use Your Halloween I Spy Worksheet
Print your chosen design onto normal white printer paper and grab your favorite coloring materials.
Chose one of our Halloween items such as the candy corn and color all of them in.
Count up how many of that item you found and write the number in the corresponding box at the bottom of the page.
Carry on coloring all of the different Halloween icons in turn and writing down the completed numbers until all of your worksheet is finished.
You could also laminate this worksheet so that it can be re-used, just use dry-erase markers to complete it.
