What You'll Find on This Page
Apple Pie Craft
Along with pumpkin patches and big sweaters, apple pie is one of those things that just yell fall to me, they give off that cosy warm feeling that I love about this time of year.
This printable craft is designed to have two different ways that you can make it depending on the age and abilities of your child so if you have more than one kid at home it’s a nice way to be able to adapt the same craft for multiple age groups and of course you can print as many copies as you like so it’s great for classrooms or preschool too.
The first page is an easy apple pie craft with apple slices and blackberries to color and cut out ready to glue into your pie.
The second page allows you to make a lattice crust for your pie that you can glue on, it’s even got tabs attached so that you can open your pie and see everything inside!

Craft Supplies Needed
- Apple pie craft PDF
- White printer paper or cardstock
- Scissors
- Glue
- Coloring pencils, colored markers or crayons
How To Make Your Cut and Paste Apple Pie Craft
Start by printing out either the first page or both pages of the craft on to white paper or cardstock. Cardstock generally makes the craft a bit more durable but if all you’ve got to hand is normal printer paper then that’s absolutely fine and it’s easier for kids to cut too.

Grab your coloring materials and color in all the separate parts of the craft. You can color your apples red or green and use a nice golden brown for your pie crust.

Cut out all the separate parts, you’ll find a dotted line around each item to help guide you. ‘Slice’ your apples in half by cutting them down the middle and then place your blackberries and apples into your pie.

If you would like to make the top part of your pie too then turn the pie lid upside down and glue the pastry strips onto it in a cross hatch formation so that you have four stuck down vertically and four horizontally.

Cut off any excess from the strips which overhangs your pie lid.
Turn your pie lid back over and then fold back the tabs at the side before gluing them to the underneath of your main pie, this way you can lift up the lid of your apple pie to see all the yummy fruit inside!
