Fall Color By Number
Color by number worksheets are quick prep, no mess and a great way to help support number recognition and color recognition too, perfect for those colder fall days when you need an indoor activity to keep the kids busy.
This cute design features some of our favorite things about fall – a scarecrow, sunflowers, a pumpkin, apples, acorns and of course lots of gorgeous fall leaves all ready to be colored in. I think they’d be a great choice as a Thanksgiving activity too.
Inside the PDF file you’ll find five pages. The first two are our color by number designs with the first one in black and white and the second with the color key at the top of the page colored in.
The second two are our color by sum designs again with a black and white version and cone with a little more color.
Want to check what the final design should look like? You’ll also find a copy of the image below showing what the printable looks like when it’s completed.
Supplies Needed:
- Color by number PDF
- White paper
- Coloring pencils, crayons or colored markers
How To Use Your Color By Number Printable
Start by printing out the design that you want onto white paper and then grab your coloring materials making sure that you have all the colors mentioned in the color key at the top of the design.
Choose an area to start and look and see what number it has on it. Check the number against the color key and then shade that area in accordingly.
If you are doing the color by sum printable then you’ll need to work out the answer to the sum before you can look up the color that you need.
Work your way around the design coloring in each area in the correct shade until the whole page is colored in.
