I Spy Weather

Over the years I’ve shared loads of weather crafts and activities, I think that it’s genuinely a great topic to look at with kids because it’s one that you can look at all year round, after all there’s always some kind of weather going on outside your window.

This printable has 12 different weather-related items for you to find and count including snowflakes, rainbows, raindrops and lightning.

With this download you’ll find two versions of this themed I spy printable, the first is in black and white and is perfect if you’re saving on ink while the second design has the area for answers colored in as well as a blue border.

So that you can make sure that you know how many of each item there are you’ll also find a completed answer sheet in the PDF pack to tell you.

Materials Needed:

  • Weather I spy PDF
  • White paper
  • Coloring pencils or colored markers

How To Use Your I Spy Printable

Print the PDF file out on to white printer paper. You can print as many copies as you like so if you want to use this in a preschool, classroom or library then that’s absolutely fine.

Next just pick one of the items such as the thermometer and then count how many of them you can find pictures of in the printable. Once you’ve counted all of them write the number you’ve found in the box at the bottom.

We’ve created all of our items in black and white on this activity so that you can color each one in as you find it.
