RELATED IDEAS: Scavenger Hunt Ideas
Scavenger hunts are such a good way to encourage children outside and into nature and preschoolers are always fun to explore with as they look at things that sometimes us grown ups can miss. We’ve shared a couple of similar designs to this printable but with parents and preschool leaders searching for a printable that they could use I thought it would be nice to share one specific for preschools.
What You'll Find on This Page
Do I Need to Find Everything in a Scavenger Hunt?
No, you might choose to do this as a competition with different groups trying to find all the items but in this case I would just see who can find the most.
The most important part of this scavenger hunt is just to get outside and have fun exploring.
How To Do a Scavenger Hunt With Preschoolers
To do this scavenger hunt you will firstly need to print out the PDF which you can find at the end of this page. Grab some colouring pencils or pens and you are ready to take it outside to look for everything. You may also find it helpful to use a clipboard to lean on while you colour in the pictures.
You can use one printable for each child or put the children in pairs or small groups to look for the items.
