Like most parents I’ll grab any excuse to get my kids outside and this outdoor scavenger hunt for toddlers is perfect with a simplified list of things to find.
We’ve shared a lot of scavenger hunts for kids because I know from my own children that they’re a great activity to keep them busy and having fun. Sometimes though the instructions can be a bit too tricky for younger kids so this printable has been designed to have bigger images for them to help recognise and colour.

Scavenger hunts are great to do either with your child on their own or you can do them as part of a group or preschool group. We’ve even had scavenger hunt races with our family as the kids raced their cousins to find all the items first.
If you don’t fancy a race then this printable is perfect to take your time over as you can colour in each item as you find it – some days it’s good to do an activity that doesn’t end after a couple of minutes!
