I’ve shared some Minion finger puppets before on this blog but with Despicable Me 3 due out soon I thought it was about time to try out another minion craft and so today we have these simple wooden spoon minions. Not only are they super easy to make but they’re great fun to play with afterwards, perfect for keeping the kids entertained!

Materials for your wooden spoon minion puppets
Let’s make them!
These wooden spoon minion puppets are so simple to make that you can have them finished in a few minutes – perfect if your kids have a short attention span and want to get on with playing with them!
First of all colour the round part of your spoon in yellow. I love these pens because the colour is much brighter than normal felt tips and the thick nib means that the colouring gets done much quicker too.
Give the ink a minite to dry now otherwise your colours are likely to bleed. I like to use this as an excuse for a drink and a snack but that’s just me. Once it’s dry using a black chalk pen draw in your minions hair, mouth and the black line across for their eyes, then stick on a googley eye or two and your wooden spoon minion puppet is done and ready to play with!
