Winter Tree Printable
I love being able to do something to celebrate the change in seasons and this cut and paste printable is a great way to help you do so.
During winter it might see that everything in nature has stopped but that isn’t the case, that’s why you’ll see our animals out in our scene and the first signs of dormant buds ready to be added to our tree branches.
This printable can also be used alongside our matching spring tree printable, summer tree printable and fall tree printable.

Craft Supplies Needed
- Winter tree craft PDF
- White paper or cardstock
- Scissors
- Glue
- Colored markers, coloring pencils or crayons
Cut and Paste Winter Tree Craft
Start by printing both pages of this craft, you can use cardstock or thick paper for this activity if you want to keep it that bit more durable but I’ve used normal white printer paper for this which was fine.
Color in the background scene and the items on the first page. As this is a snowy scene you’ll find that there’s a few things you can skip coloring if you’re in a rush for time (our ground was definitely covered in crisp white snow!) but if you want to color in your snow then go for it, a light blue can look great for this.

Cut out the different items on the first page following the dotted lines for guidance.

Start gluing the items onto your winter scene, I would recommend adding the snow and dormant buds to your tree first so that you have room for them all.

Finish sticking on your animals and snowflakes to complete your winter tree scene.

I would love the free printables. I can use them when I spend time with my grandchildren. As a former educator, I know how important these projects are for little people. Thank you so much!
