Our free printable Thanksgiving game is a fun Thanksgiving activity for kids or families to play this holiday season with its cute design featuring turkeys, fall leaves, a cornucopia and pumpkins.
Our printable game is designed for two players and it’s super easy to play, you don’t need any expensive materials, in fact you don’t even need a dice, just grab a marker and you’re ready to play.
It’s perfect as a Thanksgiving classroom activity for kids or as a fun game to play at home while Thanksgiving dinner cooks.

Thanksgiving Game for Kids and Families
Thanksgiving is the perfect excuse to spend time together and as a mom I know how good games are to help encourage that, either as something that you can play with your child or as something that kids can play together.
This Thanksgiving game features loads of our favourite themed items about the celebrations from pumpkins and footballs to turkeys and pumpkin pie and all each player needs to do is guess where their opponent has hidden their fork.
Once you’ve downloaded the game it’s really quick to set up so if you need an activity in a hurry then it’s a great choice.
What You’ll Need to Play
- Thanksgiving game PDF
- Two sheets of white printer paper
- Marker pen
How To Play Our Thanksgiving Game
Start by printing two copies of the PDF file onto white printer paper so that each player can have their own copy. Because there are so many things in our pictures I would recommend using color ink for this.
Each player needs to use a marker pen to draw a small fork in one of the boxes in the bottom grid.
Fold over this part so that your opponent can’t see where you’ve hidden the fork, but don’t worry, you can check it if you need to.
Now it’s time to try any guess where your opponent has hidden their fork and the winner will be the person who guesses first.
Take turns to ask questions like ‘is your fork hidden on the Thanksgiving table’ or ‘is your fork in a square with some fall leaves?’
If your opponent answers yes or no you’ll know if that’s an area to avoid in future or if you’re ready to make your questioning a little more detailed, for example if the fork is in a square with leaves your next question might be if there’s an animal in that square too.
Once you think you know where they’ve hidden their fork you can name the exact square where you think it is, for example ‘is your fork in square A15?’
Tips For Classroom Use
This printable Thanksgiving game is a great way for kids to have some screen-free fun and encourages them to think about strategies too.
If you’d like to use this printable again and again why not laminate it and use it with dry-erase markers.
