I don’t know quite what it is about emojis but my kids love them – and in fairness I’m probably one of those people who really overuses them too! Emoji activities for kids are great because it’s an excuse for them to be creative while also making something that they really like – it’s so much easier to get the kids to make or do something when it’s something they’re actually interested in!

I know that this paper plate emoji craft for kids was a big hit with my two as they’ve taken their creations into school and nursery today to show them off!
Although perhaps emoji crafts aren’t the first kids craft you’d think of (at three and six years old my two don’t exactly text yet) there’s something about emoji’s that really appeal to kids.
Perhaps it’s the big kid friendly faces, perhaps it’s that they’re a grown up thing that looks like a kids thing. I don’t know but either way this fun paper plate craft was a huge hit here so hopefully it will be for you too.
