Stained Glass Christmas Lantern Craft
We’ve shared a lot of crafts for toddlers over the years and these stained glass Christmas lanterns were one that my daughter really enjoyed making although of course you could make this with older kids too. We’ve made these as a simple Christmas craft but you could easily change the colours up and use them as a winter craft or for celebrating the winter solstice or Diwali. It’s a great craft for fine motor skills too and one that makes a lovely kid made decoration to have around the house!

With the summer holidays now upon us I thought it would be a good idea to share some ideas of things to do with your preschooler for free. If you have a preschooler you’ll know how the holidays suddenly mean that your go to places are either closed (parent and child groups, children’s centre) or absolutely rammed full of ‘big kids’ (oh my days have you been to soft play in the holidays? It’s carnage!) Balloon Printed Apple Craft for Kids
We often seem to get leftover balloons from parties or whatever so getting a second use out them as with this balloon printed apple craft is a great idea. It’s a great activity for preschoolers or even toddlers too as it doesn’t require much in the way of skill and using a balloon to print with is a fun alternative to a normal paintbrush.
