How To Make Your Nativity Theatre Craft
Start by printing out your PDF onto white cardstock. While you can make this nativity craft out of printer paper using this will make it very flimsy and as you don’t want your theatre to fall over while you’re using it I would therefore highly recommend cardstock.
Next color in the background, there are two separate pages for this and cut the page with the stars in half along the dotted line.
Glue the three separate pieces together as shown on the printable and then color and cut out the pictures of the palm tree, Bethlehem, star and moon before gluing these onto your background panels.
Cut out the stable floor and glue it to the back of the scene as shown on the printable.
Cut out the 3D stable and attach it to the background as shown on the PDF. To secure it in place you can either glue the tabs down or if you want to be able to put this theatre set away afterwards you can cut the slots out and use these so that you can dissemble it afterwards.
Color and cut out all of the figures for your nativity and fold their tabs so that they’re able to stand up. you can now arrange and play with your nativity scene!
Do I Need To Color My Nativity Set?
Not at all, i think that coloring your nativity set is a nice activity but if you’re stuck for time and just want to play with it then skip this step.
