I’m a big fan of Enid Blyton so I was really excited when The Book People and Tots100 asked me if I could come up with some Noddy crafts for kids. We love paper plate crafts so originally I was going to try out one of the Noddy Crafts that The Book People are sharing and make some paper plate masks but then I thought I’d go a bit out of my comfort zone and try and use the two things from the craft aisle that put the fear up me a bit – craft sticks and foam. Why? Well I think that they’re one of those things that you buy and then you sit there and think ‘well, what am I supposed to make with these then?!’ so today I’m sharing three cool Noddy crafts that you can make – a great stash buster too! I’m also sharing you how could win £500 worth of books which would be an amazing prize to get your hands on.

Craft Stick Noddy Crafts for Kids
I loved this challenge – especially making Noddy’s car! I’ve made a little video to show how to make Noddy, Big Ears and Noddy’s car out of craft sticks and you can also check out the full materials and instructions below too.
Craft Stick Noddy Materials
6 Craft sticks
Blue, white and red foam sheet
Yellow pom pom or bell
Googly eyes
Yellow button
Red, black and brown pens
How to Make Noddy
Glue the six craft sticks next to each other vertically and then cut out Noddy’s hat shape from a blue foam sheet. IN the video you’ll see that I’ve used a glue stick but generally I prefer PVA glue as I think it glues better – it does take longer to dry though. Glue Noddy’s hat onto his head and then glue a yellow pom pom or bell onto the end. Cut a red rectangle out of the foam and glue this on to make Noddy’s top and then glue on a yellow button. Stick on some googly eyes and make a mouth using white foam and red and black pens. Draw on some hair and your Noddy craft is done!
Craft Stick Big Ears Materials
7 Craft sticks
Red and white foam sheets
Cotton Wool
Googly eyes
How to Make Big Ears
Glue the craft sticks down vertically on to a piece of paper then cut out a semi-circle from the red foam and glue it on to make Big Ears’ hat. Unroll the cotton wool and glue a bit onto Big Ears’ hat and use the rest to make his beard. Glue on some googly eyes and make him a mouth using the white foam sheet.
Craft Stick Noddy’s Car Materials
6 Craft sticks
Red and yellow pens
Black and pale blue card
Large googly eyes
Red and white foam sheets
How to Make Noddy’s Car
Start by colouring in one of the craft sticks red and the rest yellow – of course you could just use red and yellow craft sticks but this is a good get around if you don’t have any! Glue them down horizontally with the red one at the bottom. Cut out tyres from the black card and a window screen from the blue card and stick these on. Cut out a mouth shape from the red and white foam sheets and stick these on, then all you need to do is add some large googly eyes and your Noddy car is complete.

That is a great competition and I love the Book People. What a brilliant idea too, I loved Noddy when the children were small and they would have loved making something like this
These are so cool. Noddy was my favourite and my boy loved him when he was little too. He called him ding, ding because of his bell! Mich x
What a lovely range of characters from Noddy. My daughter was utterly obsessed with everything Noddy when she was about 2.
I used to love Noddy. Just realised I haven’t introduced Noddy to my youngest…will have to and do some crafts with her
