Elf Message Boards
Do your family do elf on the shelf? I’ve managed to avoid it for years but this year my daughter announced that she was planning buying a toy herself and that we would be having naughty elves visiting us.
I know that’s not ‘officially’ what’s meant to happen but either way it looks like I can’t avoid it any longer!
If Santa’s elves are staying round your home this December too then these message boards are great for helping you to set the scene each day. Don’t forget to set that reminder on your phone before you go to sleep!
And if you’re not doing elf on the shelf but still love making some Christmas crafts with your child then our signs with a black and white outline that you can color in are perfect.
We’ve already made a ‘Santa Stop Here’ sign in our house and I’m sure we’ll be creating lots of little signs with our own designs in the blank message area too.

How To Use Your Elf Signs
To use your elf signs first you’ll have to choose the one that you want and print it out.
You will need to use thick cardstock rather than printer paper or it won’t stand up.
If you’re using a black and white printable then now is the time to grab those markers, coloring pencils or crayons and then color it in.
If you are using a message board that you will want to write on again such as the sleeps to go sign then you will need to laminate it so that you can write and then rub off your marker with a sponge.
Using scissors carefully cut around the elf sign and the stand following the dotted line. Make sure you also cut into each part following the lines.
Slot the two pieces together and your sign is ready to use.
