Christmas Crafts Inspired By Books

Updated on 1st December 2015 by Kate Williams | 2 Comments

I’m officially doing the ‘It’s nearly Christmas’ dance this week as our tree is up, whoop! One of the ways we’re getting into the spirit of things is by reading loads of Christmas stories, so for this weeks Tuesday Tutorials I’m sharing some Christmas crafts inspired by books that have been linked up here!

I love this Curious George ornament from Stir The Wonder.

P is for Preschooler read Olive the Other Reindeer and made this cute reindeer ornament.

We made this Glittery Star Suncatcher inspired by Lucy Goose and the Christmas Star.

Growing Book by Book read The Legend of the Poinsettia and made this cute poinsettia craft.

How cool is this Grinch made from a cardboard tube from Cutting Tiny Bites?!

This story inspired activity from Growing Book by Book to encourage kindness is a lovely idea, perhaps the cookies could be left out for Santa?!

In The Playroom have a lovely star craft inspired by the story How to Catch a Star.

Tuesday Tutorials Linky Rules:

* You can link any kind of creative tutorial, how to or recipe at any level from pre-schoolers to pro. It doesn’t have to be a new post from the last week and we don’t have a theme so use the Tuesday Tutorials Pin Party to revisit some of your best tutorial posts!
* Please follow the Tuesday Tutorials Pin Party board.

Follow Kate Williams CraftsonSea’s board Tuesday Tutorials Pin Party on Pinterest.

* Please also follow the hosts on Pinterest – Anna, Gude , Eileen and me – this is not essential but would be appreciated! * Visit at least three other blogs on the linky and pin some of their fab tutorials to your own boards. You could use the #pintorials hashtag to let them know you found them via the linky. * Please note that one image from your blog may be used on the hosts blog to promote this linky and help promote your blog! * I would love it if you could give us a link back (not essential, but you get extra love from me if you do!) As usual my fellow Tuesday Tutorials hosts have some super inspiring and pin friendly round ups for you, so do go and check out Eileen has reindeer crafts, Gude has DIY Christmas decorations for kids and Anna has Christmas cards that kids can make!
