We love doing crafts and activities with a theme so a themed tea party is a pretty logical progression! I recently introduced my kids to Alice In Wonderland which they really loved and if your kids (or you!) love the book and film too then you’ll love these thrifty Mad Hatters tea party ideas, because I love a themed tea party and I love a thrifty one even more!

I love DIY Inspired’s ideas for some thrifty Mad Hatters Tea Party centrepieces.

I love these super thrifty Mad Hatters tea cups from The Gingerbread House, can you guess what they’re made with?!

I think these paper teapot centrepieces from Delicate Construction look amazing (website no longer available).

This Mad Hatter’s top hat is made from cardboard, but it looks professional enough for a grown up to wear.

Painting roses red?! These red paper plate roses from Kids Activities Blog would make great party decorations.
