Camping I Spy Printable
I love camping both as the experience of exploring the great outdoors and as a theme to use with kids. Even if we’re not actually going away on a trip there’s loads of occasions that my kids have set up a tent in their room for the night for their own pretend camping adventures so I’m fairly certain that it’s a topic that they love too!
As well as being really quick to prepare these resources are great because you don’t need to buy a load of new supplies to use it.
You’ll need a printer and some white paper and some coloring materials plus a pencil or marker and that’s it.
Inside the PDF file you’ll find three different designs. The first is our worksheet in black and white which is a great option if you’re saving on printer ink.
Next up you’ll find it with each of our camping items colored in at the bottom of the page where you’ll be writing your answers. Worried you might need those answers quickly if you get asked how many trees or sleeping bags there are? The third page is the one just below including all the answers filled in just in case you need them in a hurry.
How To Use Your Camping I Spy
This printable is super easy for kids to use. You’ll need to start by print out the design you want and then grab some coloring materials; crayons, coloring pencils or colored markers.
Pick one of the themed items on the sheet such as the tents and then color in each one, counting up how many of them you find.
At the bottom of the page write down how many there were next to the corresponding picture.
Choose another item and color and count each of those until you’ve counted each camping item on the page.
