Free Printable Gingerbread House Craft

I made this gingerbread house craft earlier this week with my daughter and honestly we had such a lovely time, it’s really good as a fun way to chill out and relax and of course we had to pop some Christmas songs on too, Mariah Carey is very much on the permanent playlist in our home!

Gingerbread house crafts are always really popular in the lead up to Christmas, like a lot of people I’m not quite sure what our chances are making the real thing so a cute paper craft like this is a lot more achievable and less stressful too.

Craft Supplies

  • Cut and paste gingerbread house PDF
  • White paper or cardstock
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Colored markers, coloring pencils or crayons

How To Make Your Cut and Paste Gingerbread House

Print both pages of the PDF file onto white paper or cardstock. When I made this craft at home with my daughter we both used normal printer paper but if you’re looking for something that will last a little longer then go for cardstock instead.

Color in both pages. You might want to have snow on the ground of your scene so you don’t need to color in that part and you also only need to color in the items that you’ll be using, while I’ve used everything possible my daughter just wanted her house to be snow topped so she left out the jelly tots.

Cut out all of the items on the first page using scissors and following the dotted lines around them.

Start sticking the cut out items onto your gingerbread house. While we were making ours I found it helpful to start with the things needed to make the house itself so this was the door and window as well as the jelly tots for the roof and the front path. Doing it this way meant that we didn’t accidentally run out of room for anything.

Glue the rest of the items onto your scene and your picture is finished.
