Clothesline Craft
Do you hang your laundry outside?
It’s only while I was writing up this craft that I discovered that in some areas people aren’t allowed to which was a big shock to me.
Being British I think there’s a point in the year that people get genuinely quite excited about the thought of being able to hang their washing out, it means that we finally have some decent weather and we don’t have to keep spending so much money on using a tumble dryer.
Using a clothesline is so much better both for the environment and for your clothes too!
This clothesline craft has two different designs for you to choose from. The first has a little more detail such as a picture of a sun on the t-shirt and a bow on the dress while the second page has less detail so that your child can add their own designs if they would like.

Cut and Paste Clothesline Activity
Print the PDF file for this craft onto normal white printer paper. If you’d like to you can use cardstock instead which will make your craft a little more sturdy however this can also make it slightly harder to cut.
You only need to print out the page of items that you intend to use so make sure that you adjust your printer settings accordingly.
Color in the background scene and all of the items on the first page including the clothes, washing basket, flowers, grass and butterfly.
Following the dotted lines on the printable use scissors to carefully cut out each of the items on the first page.
Pop a little bit of glue on the back of each item, a glue stick or school glue / PVA glue is fine and then glue all of your paper clothes onto the clothesline.
Add the grass, flowers and butterfly to your picture and your clothesline craft is finished.
