Printable Crab Craft

I think that under the sea and ocean crafts are a great choice for making during the summer when a lot of us are thinking of trips to the beach and warm or hot days.

With the way that crabs scuttle from side to side they’re creatures that are instantly recognisable, making them a great choice for kids crafts.

You can print as many copies of this paper crab craft as you like so it’s perfect for making with groups of kids such as in classrooms but likewise it’s also perfect for making at home too.

Craft Supplies

  • Build a crab craft PDF
  • White paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Colored markers, coloring pencils or crayons

Build A Crab Craft

Print the PDF onto plain white paper or cardstock and then color in all the separate parts of the crab.

Using your scissors cut out the separate parts of the crab’s body following the dotted lines around them.

Glue the crab’s pincer’s onto the back of the main part of the crab’s body and glue the eyes onto the top of their body.

If at any point you are unsure where anything should be stuck then you’ll find a little illustration in the top corner of the printable so that you can see what the finished crab craft should look like.

Add a little bit of glue to each of the crab’s legs and glue four on each side of their body. On the printable you will find these separated for those for the left and right hand side to help you.
