Spring Cut and Paste Craft
I think that spring is my favourite time of the year, after the cold weather of winter I’m always so thankful for warmer days, a bit more sunlight and the reappearance of colorful flowers.
Our free printable reflects this and has two separate pages for you to print and color.
One is an outdoor scene with grass and a fence while the main page has a worm, butterfly, bee, caterpillar, bunny and ladybug for you to color and cut out along with some more grass, daisies and a daffodil.
On the free printable you’ll find a little black and scene showing how you might want to set your craft up but we totally recommend that you decide where to place each thing yourself to make a fun backyard scene that’s full of life.
Craft Supplies
- Spring scene cut and paste PDF
- White paper
- Colored markers, coloring pencils or crayons
- Scissors
- Glue
How To
This craft really is super easy to make so the instructions are pretty easy too!
Start by printing your PDF onto white paper or cardstock. I’ve used normal printer paper for mine which isn’t as sturdy as cardstock but was fine for me in this instance.
Color in all of the separate parts. As you can see I’ve colored in all of the animals and plants but I’ve left the sky blank. How much you choose to color depends on you.
Cut out all of the animals and flowers from the first page.
Dab a little glue onto the back of each of them and stick them where you would like them to go on your backyard scene.
I would recommend that you glue on the larger items first (rabbit, daffodil and grass) to make sure that you have room for them.
Glue on the remainder of your items to finish your craft.
