I love our new cut and paste Valentines craft. You can make just as a simple cut out flower craft or do as we’ve done here and glue it to some cardstock to make a cute DIY Valentines card that you can give to friends or family.

Valentines Flower Craft
This Valentines craft is a great way to keep your kids entertained this February as the cut, color and stick to make this sweet Valentines Day craft.
As the craft supplies that you’ll need to make are also ones that you might well have at home or in your classroom already it’s also a really cheap craft to make, always something that I think is a good thing.
There are four different phrases that you can choose from to go in the centre or the flower so you can pick the one that you prefer:
- Bee Mine
- To ……, Love From
- Happy Valentine’s Day
- I Love You
All you need to do is download and print the PDF and you’re ready to get started.
Craft Supplies
- Valentines Craft PDF
- White paper or cardstock
- Scissors
- Glue
- Coloring materials – crayons, coloring pencils or markers
- Optional – colored cardstock
Cut and Paste Valentines Craft
Start by printing out the PDF onto white printer paper. If you want to make this craft a little more durable you can use cardstock instead by paper is generally fine and is easier for kids to cut too.
Grab your coloring pencils, markers or crayons and color in all the separate parts.
You only need to choose and color one of the sections to go in the centre of the flower.
Using your scissors cut out all the sections.
Using a glue stick or school glue (PVA glue) attach the stem to the back of the flower pot and the leaves to the back of the stem.
Glue the flower’s petals to the back of the centre of the flower and then glue this to the top of the flower’s stem. Finally add the bee.
If you like you can stick your completed flower craft to the front of a card (eg cardstock folded in half) to make a sweet Valentines card to give to friends or family.
