Helicopter Template
No matter how old you are I think helicopters always hold that sense of excitement in people. It’s a bit like eating a doughnut without licking your lips, if you hear a helicopter overhead you just have to look up and take a look at it!
Helicopters are used for lots of reasons, from private travel to air ambulances and helicopters that help with sea rescues.
They’re also a subject that’s normally pretty popular with kids so if you have a helicopter crazy kid then this is the one for you!
There are two different printables available in the PDF as you can see in the image above. The first one is a basic helicopter outline while the second design also shows the windows.
You can print out both designs or just choose the one that you want.
Helicopter Craft Ideas
Coloring
Coloring is a great activity for quiet time or if you’re at home it can be a nice easy activity to set up for your child.
To use these templates as helicopter coloring sheets just print out the designs and use your favorite crayons, coloring pencils or markers.
Cotton Wool
You’ve colored in your helicopter so now what? How about adding some cotton wool clouds? Just grab some cotton balls and glue them onto the background.
If you fancy making it even more extra then use markers to draw some birds in the background too.
Aluminium Foil
Make a helicopter that really stands out by tearing aluminium foil into pieces and gluing them onto the main body of the helicopter and it’s blades.
