Pumpkin Pie Craft Template
There are two different designs available in the PDF file. You can print them both out or just choose the one that is better for the craft you want to make. Of course you can also print as many copies as you like, perfect if you’re in a kindergarten or classroom and don’t fancy drawing 30 pumpkin pies!
The first outline is of a pumpkin pie slice showing the pie filling and the crust while the second picture is of a whole pie.
Of course you don’t have to use this as a pumpkin pie template if you don’t want to, you could change the colors up and make it as a pecan, blueberry, cherry or apple pie or make a key lime pie instead.
Pumpkin Pie Craft Ideas
Coloring
Coloring is always a good option for kids because it’s so easy and quick to set up and it’s normally something that they enjoy too.
Just print out whichever template you think they’d enjoy the most, or print both, and grab your crayons, markers and coloring pencils.
Cotton Balls
Whipped cream is a classic to be served with pumpkin pie. To make yours decorate your pie outline however you like and then glue a cotton ball on top for a fluffy whip cream.
If you don’t have cotton balls at home how about using white pom poms?
Tissue Paper
Glue squares of orange and brown colored tissue paper over your template to color it in.
Paper Strips
Make a lattice for your pie by using scissors to cut out strips of brown cardstock, paper or construction paper and gluing them in a criss-cross pattern on your pie.
Younger kids can just stick these down while older children could try to weave these together first.
Play Dough Mat
This template would be perfect to use as a play dough mat, just put it into a plastic wallet of laminating pouch first and then you can design or decorate your pie however you like.
