With Chinese New Year on the way I thought it might be good to share some easy sheep crafts that kids can make so that they can all help join in with the fun, it’s the year of the sheep this year after all! Then I thought, you know what? I’m freezing today, totally freezing and totally over winter so sharing these sheep crafts is helping me looking forward to spring too! Either way, if you’re after some simple craft ideas for spring or for New Year hopefully they’ll be something in here to inspire you.
My son loves to paint with his hands so this fingerprint sheep from Crafty Morning would be great for us. Also it gives me an excuse to buy more bakers twine which is good for me!
This cute sheep from Mama Miss is gorgeous, plus there’s a snack idea to have alongside your craft.
We made our sheep craft using cupcake liners and had great fun doing it!
I’m a huge fan of paper plate crafts so this paper plate sheep from In The Playroom is totally on our To Do list.
Maggy at Red Ted Art is the Queen of toilet roll crafts and her toilet roll sheep looks like great fun to make.
How cool are these sheep masks from My Little 3 and Me?!
Over at Nurturestore they’ve been making these fab sheep cards that would be perfect for Chinese New Year or Easter.
This sheep windsock from Buddy and Buggy is really cute and there’s lots more farm animals you can make on the site too!
Kids play Box use egg cartons to for their sheep craft which I think is totally inspired.
These handprint sheep from There’s Just One Mommy are too cute!
If you’ve also had it up to here with winter why not follow my Spring and Easter board on Pinterest? It’s the crafting equivalent of a flick through a holiday brochure and will have you looking forward to warmer times!
