How To Use These Do A Dot Printables
Start by printing out the shapes printables onto white paper. You can just print the designs you want to use or if you are doing this activity with a group then you might like to print all of them.
Using your dot marker or bingo dauber make a colored dot in the middle of each circle.
Continue making a colored stamp in each of the circles until all of your shape is colored in.
If you enjoyed coloring in your shape then why not try out the other shapes worksheets too.
As well as using the dot markers on these printables you could also try to naturally extend the activity by talking about what colors you are using for each shape or by adding some simple counting, for examples how many circles are there in each row of the square or asking how many points the star shape has.
What Can I Use Instead of Dot Markers?
While I’m a huge fan of dot markers and bingo daubers they’re certainly not the only way that you can use these printables.
Some mess free alternatives include using counters or dot stickers while if you don’t mind a little more mess you could try finger painting or using pom poms or q-tips dipped in paint.
