What You'll Find on This Page
Apple Tree Craft
This free printable template works perfectly for apple season and harvest and fall activities but as it shows our apple tree throughout the four seasons it would actually be a great craft to do at any time of the year.
You could also make it as part of a healthy eating topic, looking at where apples come from.
For spring there’s apple blossom and leaves, summer has leaves and apples starting to grow, in fall you’ll find fully grown apples and leaves changing color and falling from our tree while winter has snow, snowflakes and dormant buds for our tree ready to start growing again.
There are two pages to download in the PDF file, the first has the different parts that you’ll need to color for your apple tree while the second page is the tree trunk which has been divided up into the four different seasons.

Craft Supplies Needed
- Apple tree craft PDF
- White paper
- Scissors
- Glue
- Coloring materials – crayons, coloring pencils or colored markers
Build An Apple Tree Craft
Print both pages of the PDF file onto white printer paper and then color in each of the items for each of the four seasons.

Using your scissors carefully cut around each of the items. You can do this all in one go or if you’re worried that the different seasons will get mixed up then cut out one part at a time before gluing it on.
Put a dab of glue on the back of each item and then glue them into the correct season.
I would recommend doing one season at a time with spring, summer, fall and winter but obviously go with what what works best for you.

Work your way around the tree gluing on the different items for each season until your tree is complete.

More Apple Craft Ideas
Grab the red and green paint and make these simple paper plate apples.
These are ones that I made with my kids when they were three and six years old so it’s a good activity for preschoolers as well as those in the early years of school.

This pom pom apple tree craft was a big hit with my daughter when we made it together.
The pom poms are good for fine motor skills, although obviously you’ll need to supervise due to the small parts.

Finally if you enjoy cut and paste crafts then this build an apple craft would be great as past of an apple themed topic!
It’s two sided so you can see both the outside and inside of an apple.
