Build A Santa Printable

For me it’s not Christmas without doing some kind of Santa activity, whether that’s watching a film like The Santa Claus, writing a letter to Santa or even going to meet the man himself.

Santa is an absolute legend so it makes sense to make some kind of Santa crafts and these are normally the ones that my own kids will be drawn to first over the holiday season.

Cut and paste crafts are such a great way to keep your kids busy and I think that this sweet Santa template will make the perfect addition to any Christmas crafting, after all look at his cute rosy cheeks!

This Santa is perfect for making at home with your child but once you’ve downloaded your free PDF file you can print as many copies as you like so it’s ideal for using in a classroom too or if you have a group of kids to keep busy.

Santa Craft Supplies

  • Santa craft template printed onto white paper or cardstock
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Coloring materials – coloring pencils, markers or crayons.

How To Build Your Santa

Start by printing your Santa craft template onto white paper or cardstock. Printer paper is absolutely fine to use and is what I’ve used for this craft but using cardstock will give your craft a little more durability.

Next up it’s time to color all the separate parts in so get your red, brown and black markers and go for it.

Once the coloring is done grab a pair of scissors and cut out all the different parts that you’ve just colored.

Now it’s time to glue your Santa together and just in case you need it you’ll find a picture of a finished Santa craft in the top corner of the printable.

I found it helped by making Santa’s face and body first. Glue his head onto the top of his body and then glue on Santa’s beard and mustache. You want to make sure that the top of his beard will be going under his hat.

Stick down Santa’s hat and glue your holly leaves onto this then glue on his belt.

Finally glue on the chimney stack and your Santa Claus craft is finished and ready to show off!
