Equipment

  • Solar system cut and paste PDF
  • White paper or cardstock
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Coloring pencils, colored markers or crayons

Instructions

  • Print the planet page and one of the background pages onto white printer paper or cardstock.

  • Color in both pages.
  • Cut out the planets and the asteroid belt.
  • Glue the planets and asteroid belt into place on your space background page.

Notes

In the PDF file you'll find a choice of two backgrounds, one which tells you the order of the planets and one which doesn't however if you need a reminder you can also find a picture of the finished craft on the planets sheet to help you.
