Equipment

  • Build a caterpillar craft PDF
  • White paper or cardstock
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Coloring pencils, colored markers or crayons

Instructions

  • Print the PDF file onto white paper or cardstock.

  • Color in all the parts of the caterpillar. If you are using the background scene you can color this in too.

  • Cut out all of the caterpillar parts.

  • Glue the eyes onto your caterpillar's face and glue the tentacles onto the back of its head.

  • Stick the six body parts together and then glue the legs onto your caterpillar in pairs with three at the front of the body and three glued behind.

  • If you are using the scene page then you can now glue your completed caterpillar onto the branch.

Notes

Using the background page is completely optional so if you don't fancy using it then you don't need to print it out or color it in.
