Apparently I am a bit brilliant. Who knew it?! Obviously I’ve been trying to convince people of this for years but I normally rather doubt that they believe me.
Crafts on Sea has been nominated in the Brilliance in Blogging Awards in the crafts catagory. Which is amazing, especially when you look at the amazing caliber of the blogs that it’s up against and the fact that my mum didn’t vote for me. That means someone else did. I love you by the way, did I mention that?
This last year has been both knackeringly slow and insanely busy for me. Regular readers will know that last year I got made redundant when I was pregnant and I’ve somehow ended up doing most of my blogging in bed at 3am feeding a small baby. I like to think that I have tried my best though! With the Tuesday Tutorials linky I started I’m genuinely loving the chance to find new blogs and share what people are up to. I love seeing the little creative community that’s starting to spring up there. Being a woman with two kids and very little time to myself my crafts will always be easy things that people can fit into their lives, I’m really pleased with the teacup pincushion tutorial I published yesterday, the feather garland I made always makes me smile and my tutorial on making a dribble bib has been super popular (mothers of dribbly teething children – I feel your pain!!)
I’m also trying to do more crafts with my toddler like my Easter crafts for toddlers to keep their parents sane (it was a long day) and I’m still acting like a teenager that refuses to grow up with my adventures in yarnbombing, but at least I try to make people smile.
So if you’re new here and have popped over to see what I’m about, that stuff up there is what I’m about (plus added wine). And if you’ve been here before then thank you. And if any of you would be so very kind as to vote for me here (its at the bottom of the page, don’t look at the other nominees!!) then I will love you forever. Fact.
Thank you, I feel a tiny bit brilliant today.
