Whether it’s birthdays or Christmas wrapping presents all ways fills me with a slight sense of foreboding. I know it should be fun but… well I just find it a bit stressful – after all isn’t the unwrapping the fun bit?! I know that after school or preschool my kids can still be pretty wired, sometimes we’ll head out to the park but sometimes (especially when it’s cold!) it’s good just to be at home. Yesterday I did a super brave thing, I got the glitter out. I know that if you write about kids crafts then somehow you are expected to automatically love glitter but this mama has spent too long cleaning the stuff up to be a big fan of it! We did find a way to keep the mess under control though and I think our winter tree suncatchers worked out really well!
