I saw this website mentioned a little while ago by someone and thought I’d give it a go for my son. We don’t live near any of my family, my mum and sister live in Peterborough and my dad lives in Kent. Not the other end of the planet but still not quite close enough that you can pop in for a cup of tea without doing a weeks wages on petrol. These easy DIY colouring pages seemed the perfect way to do encourage a bit of creativity while helping to remind my son about all his family members and we did some of a recent holiday too – good times!
How to turn photos into colouring pages
All you need to do is get a photo, save it on your computer and then upload it to the website here. You have the option of paying for the service but umm… you can just copy and paste your picture into word so I wouldn’t really advise that.
And behold! Your own personalised colouring pictures are ready to print! I’m already planning on the next step for these beauties, it’s John’s birthday in a couple of weeks and then my stepmum’s after that. Who wouldn’t want a card with a picture of them with the little man coloured in by the fellow himself? (nb. Only try this with family members who dote on your child, if its your friend and you give them this it isn’t going to fly.) And then Christmas cards too? I think it would also make a nice activity for a children’s party if you have pictures of all the kids playing together previously.
So enjoy, and dad? I think you look lovely with blue hair.

This is great! My son loves coloring. I’m definitely going to have to check out this site.

What a fun idea. Would be great for an Andy Warhol project!
