With the arrival of New Year a lot of us start thinking about how to be more healthy, once you have kids it’s not just you that you think of but your children too. This week I’m linking up my post on 40+ foods your baby can eat before they have teeth, as my daughter will eat anything, however, like a lot of preschoolers my son is a lot more picky so I’m sharing some great healthy snacks for kids today to help inspire me too!
These cheese monsters from Danya Banya look so cool and your kids can help to make them. I love her sprinkle sticks too!
Eats Amazing is one of my favourite blogs and I love Grace’s colour coded snacks for when you’re going out to play.
BlueBear Wood’s Sausage Salad Pitta Pockets are a great way to encourage kids to eat more vegetables. (And they have some gorgeous looking apple crisps over there too!)
Multi Crafting Mummy’s Playdate Pizzas use wholemeal pittas and look delicious, while ET Speaks from Home shared some great looking pitta snacks too filled with the amazing sounding Baharat roasted chicken.
In The Playroom made these fun monster sandwiches which I think would be great followed by Daisies and Pie’s fruit kebabs.
I love owls and I’m sure most kids would think these owl toasts from Sunny Day Family were pretty cool too!
If you’re looking to encourage your kids to eat more healthily then there’s some great ideas over at Mum in The Madhouse for encouraging picky eaters, while Supper Mommy Club shared some recipes for healthy snacks that kids can make and Golden Reflections Blog shared tips for encouraging healthy eating habits for kids.
Love the Babybels with the wobbly eyes 🙂
They’re fantastic aren’t they 🙂
A great roundup of snacks. I will use it for inspiration now the kids are on packed lunches x
Glad it helps 🙂
