A few weeks ago my youngest was diagnosed with asthma. She’d been coughing loads in the night until she’d vomit everywhere, it was like a poor quality flashback to her reflux days and just as stressful. Officially, I know that asthma ‘shouldn’t’ be diagnosed until two but her pump seems to be helping. One of the things that seems to set her off though is having a cold so when I was asked if I’d like to take part in a review for Snufflebabe I jumped at the chance, after all anything that has the potential to help is worth investigating!

If you read this blog regularly then you’ll know I’m a bit of a thrifty crafter. Like most people I can’t fritter away hundreds a week on my crafting addiction so cheap crafts mean that I can stock up my crafting stash regularly and make things as soon as the inspiration takes me!  I’m a huge fan of The Works and have shared their craft supplies on the Crafts on Sea Facebook page before just because I think they rock so I was more than happy when they asked me if I’d like to round up some of my recommendations from their range.

With two small kids I’m always trying to think of crafts I can do very, very quickly. I thought it might be fun to do a tutorial on how to make a tag blanket as I knew it would be something my daughter would enjoy and therefore also meaning I felt rightious in doing some sewing rather than the housework! I did the majority of this while she had a nap and (as she woke up earlier than planned, boooo), finished the last bit after she’d woken up. I think the whole thing took less than an hour which makes this not only a ‘how to make a tag blanket’ but also a ‘how to get stuff done very quickly while your kids nap’!
