I know, kissing all dignity goodbye, right?! I did try for quite a while to think of a more SEO friendly title for this post, maybe ‘one quick trick for teaching the alphabet’ or ‘how to teach your child letter recognition’. But you know what? I have two kids and the small amount of dignity that I managed to keep throughout my teenage years pretty much disappeared the day I first fell pregnant, so this is how I taught my son letter recognition by putting a bucket on my head because, hey, that’s how I did it and because I’m fairly certain you’ll want to know about it too!
The Quickest Way To Make A Cushion Cover
With two small kids the amount of time I get to make things myself is pretty limited. Actually it’s pretty non-existent, so anything I do needs to be made in a matter of minutes or it just isn’t going to happen. I waited until we had a (slightly more photogenic than my home) day out at Mersea Island with the kids and with the stealth skills of a ninja with an iPhone, sent him off to get chips while I got the kids to pose.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Paper Plate Craft
Today was one of those days. The car was in the garage. I was ill. There was only so much Paw Patrol that any of us could handle. What to do? I suggested to my son that we made something and like any child of a crafts blogger he was determined and enthusiastic in his response. No. Then I suggested that we made some Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Cue running to the dinning room to get the paints out…
