Do you love Halloween? I do, but to be honest I’m not keen on the super scary stuff, apart from anything else, with two small people in tow I don’t want to deal with any nightmares! I do like the excuse for dressing up and having fun though and I see no reason why Halloween can’t be a fun and friendly celebration too! These cute pumpkin crafts should all help make your Halloween a bit sweeter, and if you’re looking for something even more child friendly or suitable for Thanksgiving or Harvest Festival celebrations there are a few with ‘scary’ faces where you could always leave the faces off? (I think they’re pretty sweet though?! What do you think?)
Cute Ghost Footprint Keepsake
So I told myself I wsn’t going to blog any Halloween crafts yet but when I told my son about my idea for this cute ghost footprint keepsake he wanted to make it right that very minute, so I figured hey, if it’s not too early for him it’s not too early for here either? I have to admit that I rather love Halloween crafts, as I kid I never celebrated Halloween but now I have kids of my own? Love it. It’s an excuse for dressing up, sweets and fun craft ideas and that’s good enough for me!
Free Colouring Pages for Adults: Maps
I’ve really enjoyed sharing some free colouring pages for adults recently and today I’m sharing some new ones for you to download – these fantastic maps! The Ordnance Survey has recently released some of their fabulous maps as downloads that can be printed off and coloured in, having tried the London map myself I can confirm that they are brilliant! Really relaxing and there’s lots of little bits that give you a good excuse to get lots of colours out. Which of these maps to colour in is your favourite?

Apple Crafts for Kids
Can I officially do my Autumn dance yet? I’m no fan of the colder weather but I love the excuse for big cardigans, wrapping up warm and watching the leaves change colour. One of our favourite things to do as a family in autumn is to go to a local fruit farm and pick apples. I like to use this as an excuse to do some crafting with my children afterwards so I thought I’d put together this little round up of some of my favourite apple crafts for kids, I hope you like them too!
Paper Plate Fox
Yesterday I shared the cute paper plate badger that I made this week with my daughter and today it’s the turn for this sweet paper plate fox! Both my children made these paper plate crafts but my son decided to use his for a bit of scissor practice before I managed to get the camera out. Never mind, one of the nice things about paper plate crafts is that they are so cheap to do and with a craft this cute I don’t mind doing it again next week!
